Effects of Exercise on Breast Cancer Patients
Test of mood, abilities and welfare evolution of patients after training.
The SOMC has a program of promotion of physical activities for persons in remission of cancer. The project is based on people who suffered breast cancer, because patients had a difficult treatment which physically affects them.
The SOMC has promoted two different sports for these patients: snowshoes for winter and Nordic walking for summer. The patients are trained by groups depending on their levels and abilities, The SOMC tests their mood, the abilities and their welfare coefficient with a questionnaire they fill after their sports activities.
