Winds modelling in order to optimize the trajectory of a boat.

The STAP was asked to conduct a study to control and optimise the uncertain variables. The goal was to predict the ten tendency of change of winds in order to optimise the trajectory of the boat. 

The STAP used mathematical calculation to optimise the angles the boat was to follow to reach the fastest possible the end of the race. The STAP drew a modelisation of the wind and made a tool which allows to measure the distance between two boats in order to know which one is ahead of the other. This particular tool allow measurement during the race itself.
